Ceremony of the Keys

The Ceremony of the Keys is the traditional locking up of the Tower of London.

Halt Who comes there? A question asked every evening at the Tower of London.
Set amidst the mighty battlements of this ancient historic fortress, The Ceremony of the Keys is one of the oldest and most colourful surviving ceremonies of its kind, having been enacted every night without fail for over 700 years.

There are no toilet or refreshment facilities available.
Photography is not permitted during any part of the ceremony.
Tickets are free, however there is a £1 fee to cover the booking administration costs.

Tickets are available 12 months in advance.

Fabulous Flowers For A Fiver

Busy week but still time to get some fabulous flowers for a fiver. Two bunches of stunning tulips from Tesco.

Yellow stickers bargains at £2 a bunch and a bunch of daffodils for £1.

Fabulous Flowers
I put some in a vase and some in a storm glass so that half the flowers would be higher than others. I placed the smaller vase in front of the storm glass so it looks like one large display.

Vase and Storm Glass - then I put the vase in the front

They are pretty spring colours to welcome in March.

Stunning flowers to brighten the day
